We are currently looking to fill multiple positions in our Dublin office on our Travel Design team. This role requires acute attention to detail, creative thinking, a keen aesthetic eye for design and presentation, and excellent customer service skills.
TRAVEL DESIGNER
This is a client-facing, creative and consultative role. The Travel Designer can complete programmes from the enquiry stage to itinerary design, operations and billing with little to no supervision. Prior experience curating tailored itineraries for high-end luxury FIT is required; relevant experience/training may be considered.
What you’ll be doing:
Design and deliver cutting-edge, high-end creative itineraries for prospective clients to Ireland & Scotland
Price / Cost these itineraries in line with company & supplier guidelines
Liaise with the client to adapt the itinerary and pricing to meet their styles and preferences
Make all relevant bookings, and maintain bookings according to company procedures
Ensure the delivery and execution of all tours are to the highest standard.
Work closely with Accounts function to ensure client accounts are correct and in order
Work closely with suppliers to negotiate the best deals for our clients and maintain a good working relationship with all our providers
Research new properties, dining venues, activities etc. in Ireland and Scotland
Guide and mentor Operations Coordinators
Essential Skills:
Must have at least one year of relevant and high-level previous tourism or hospitality experience in luxury leisure travel in Ireland or Scotland.
An excellent knowledge of the geography of Ireland and Scotland
Excellent written and spoken English with good interpersonal skills and customer service skills
Flexibility and an ability to work in a fast paced, deadline-oriented environment
Excellent organizational skills
Ability to work on own initiative
Ability to work within and support a small team dynamic
Technically savvy and proficient in Excel and PowerPoint
